Known for his distinctive gravelly, soul-drenched vocals and cinematic sound, Banks’ music, including singles “Unknown (To You)” and “Chainsmoking”, has made waves worldwide. He’s commanded stages at Coachella and Lollapalooza and sold-out headline shows across Europe and North America. Whether backed by a full band or delivering a stripped-back acoustic moment, Banks captivates audiences with every note, his live sets are renowned for their emotional intensity, sonic power and immersive atmosphere.

Banks first made waves with his debut album Village (2018), followed by For My Friends (2021) and Lies About The War (2022). With each release, he continues to explore new terrain - blending R&B, gospel, soul and alternative influences with lyrical depth and emotional resonance.

Now, with his latest project Yonder: Book I, Banks begins a bold new chapter. The first in a trilogy of albums, Yonder: Book I is a deeply personal journey that honours his African heritage while pushing musical boundaries. “This is a love letter to Africa; especially Nigeria for all she continues to give me,” says Banks. Through intricate layers of African samples, soul grooves, and his unmistakable voice, Yonder offers a transcendent experience both on record and on stage.
